Our causality was renewed since December 2001

There are 2 examination rooms , one emergency room with 2 beds fully equipped and prepared for intubations at any time.

Two neubilizer  rooms with 10 machines for  asthmatic patients

One observation room with 6 beds for patients who needs i-v drip

And observation before admission or discharge according to the conditions .

2 rooms for on call doctors to be available over the 24 hrs .

Between 7 am and 2 pm one doctor is sitting in the causality covered  by a senior registrar and a consultant .  Between 2 pm till 9 pm there are 2 doctors in causality , from 9 pm till 7 am 2 doctors are sitting.

The doctor in – charge decides which patient should be given emergency treatment or send home after observation.  Any patient seemed to  require admission is sent to the ward. Patients who require follow up are given appointment  in the relevant outpatient clinic .
